Bollywood action comedy flick, Rakta Bbandhan, directed by Rajat rakshit was released in the year 1984. The movie starred Mithun Chakraborthy and Rati Agnihotri in lead roles while Viju Khote, Jankidas, Birbal, Shubha Khote, Dinesh Hingoo, Jagdeep, Dina Pathak and Narendra nath also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by the well knwon female music director Usha Khanna while the songs were rendered by Mohammed rafi, Asha bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Chandan ( Mithun Chakraborthy ), who lives alongwith his mother and a sister in a small village. Chandan works in a horse driven carraige. He is in love with a beautiful girl named Roopa ( Rati Agnihotri ). On the other hand, there is a deadly dacait named Trishul Singh ( also played by Mithun ), who is the twin brother of Chandan but none of the two knows about this reality. Trishul loves a dancer named Kamobai ( Surinder Kaur ). One day he come acroos injured Chandan and assuming him to be dead, he decides to take his identity and starts living in the village as Chandan.

On the other hand, Chandan, who is still alive and is mistaken by Trishul’s gang members as Trishul. But Chandan immediately tells them that he is not Trishul and there is a serious misunderstanding. Chandan get shcoked to learn that there is a guy who looks just like him. Meanwhile Trishul finds out about Chanda’s home and starts living alongwith Chandan’s mother and sister. But how far he will go like this?
