Red - the dark side was a thriller movie that was released on March 9, 2007 under the banner of Horseshoe Pictures Pvt. Ltd. The movie was directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Sunil Chainani and Sameer Srivastava. The lead roles in the movie were played by Celina Jaitley, Amrita Arora, Aftab Shivdasani and Sushant Singh while supporting roles were payed by Amin Hajee, Kishori Shahane and Anuj Saxena. The music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Himesh Reshammiya, Harshdeep Kaur, Jayesh Gandhi and Akruti Kakkar.

The movie Red is not only the romantic thriller movie but also showcases the elements of fear, love, lust, passion, mystery and deception which are successfully depicted by the characters in the film. The story of the movie revolves around a billionaire and a bachelor named Neel Oberoi ( Aftab Shivdasani ). Neel had everything with him and is just the perfect man but the only problem he faced was that he was diagnosed with a heart disorder. The world came to a standstill as the only cure to the disease was some miracle.

Neel accidently come across the real miracle he actually needed, Anahita ( Celina Jaitley ). She was a sexy, beautiful girl but didn’t have anyone with her with whom she can spend her time. They both got indulged in a passionate relationship. She had a best friend Ria ( Amrita Arora ) whom she trust a lot. Ria was the one person who supported and encouraged Anahita in her most difficult times thiugh by attitude Ria was mysterious and a flirt. Neel just emerged from the holds of death just to fall in love with Anahita.
