Bollywood adventurous movie, Salaami, directed by Shahrukh Sultan was released on March 18, 1994. The movie starred Ayub Khan and Roshini Jaffrey in lead roles while Samyukta, Goga Kapoor, Kabir Bedi, Saeed Jaffrey and Beena Banerjee also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by none other than the well known music director duo Nadeem Shrawan while the songs were beautiuflly crooned by Kumar Sanu, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Vijay ( Ayub Khan ), who is an honest army cadet. He meets with a girl named Saabi Kapoor ( Roshgini Jaffrey ) and instantly falls in love with her. Soon they both expresses their love for each other and decides to get married soon. But before that could happen, He unfortunatley meets with a corrupt Superintendent of Police named Gautam ( Goga Kapoor ). Before he could realise his mistake, he finds himself behind the bars for worng cahrges putted on by gautam on him.

Actually, Vijay has some evidence against Gautam which are enough to put him behind bars and therefore Gautam in turn have arrested Vijay so that he can collect those evidences from him. He even abducts Vijay’s girlfriend and her mother so that he can force Vijay for handing over the evidences against him to him. But this minute looking thing results in the conflicts between Army and Police. What will happen now?
