Bollywood comedy movie, Shreeman Funtoosh, directed by Shantilal Soni and writte by Pandit R. Priyadarshi was released in the year 1965. The movie starred Kishore Kumar and Kumkum in lead roles while Mohan Choti, Harindranath Chattopadhyay, Anoop Kumar, Kesari, Kartar Singh, B. V. Badshah and Jeevan Kala also played important roles in the film. The hit evergreen music of the movie was composed by the well known veteran music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal while the songs were crooned by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Kishore ( Kishore Kumar ), who is famous with the name of Funtoosh among his friends and family. Kishore is unemployed and passes his time by doing unnecessary things. He meets with a beautiful girl named Meena ( Kumkum ) and instantly falls in love with her. Meena is the daughter of a scientist, who is working on a secret formula. The formula on which her father is working is being sponsered by an evil businessman named Chaurangi Chaurasia ( Mohan Choti ).

Chaurasia’s son, Ranjan ( Anoop Kumar ) is in love with Meena and wants to get married with her. One day Kishore goes to meet Meena at her house but accidently lands up in the basement lab of her scientist father. there he comes in contact with some iron rays and he turns into a strongman. He gets some additional superpowers too which are enough to make him the strongest person in the whole world.
