The romantic thriller Vaada was released on January 7, 2005 under the banner of Puja Films. The movie was directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Bhatt. The important roles in the movie were played by Arjun Rampal, Amisha Patel, Zayed Khan and Rakesh Bedi while supporting roles were played by Anjan Srivastava and Alok Nath. Music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Babul Supriyo, Anuradha Sriram, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan and Kailash Kher.

The successful combo of Satish Kaushik and Vashu Bhagnani is back again to produce the movie Vaada after seeing the success of the movie “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai”. The twists and turns in the movie will not let you skip any part of it. Rahul ( Arjun Rampal ) is a blind man but still can do what people with normal sight can’t. Puja ( Amisha Patel ) is the wife of Rahul but is worried about the tensions between her husband and her lover Karan ( Zayed Khan ). Karan loves Puja deeply and was worried about her condition with Rahul.

Vaada is the life strory of newly married couple Rahul and Puja who love each other deeply. An accident met by them smeday changed their lives forever atleast it did for Rahul who got blind after the incident. Rahul decided to fight his problem and started living with it. He came across Karan on a business trip and was impressed by his skills thus he offered him to join his company. They both returns to India and this came as a surprise to Puja when she saw her old lover standing besides her husband. Puja was stuck between the choice of her husband and her lover.
