Bollywood comedy drama, Waris, directed by Ramanna and written by Rajendra Krishan was released in the year 1969. The movie starred Jeetendra and Hema Malini in lead roles while Prem Chopra, Kamini Kaushal, David Abraham, Manorama, Sudesh Kumar, Mehmood, Prem Kumar, Sachin, Chaman Puri, Sachin and Nazima also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a king, whose wife and son decide to leave his kingdom because of some misunderstanding. Years later, King is now dead and his officials starts their search for the new prince. It is decided that they should try to locate King’s son but soon they realises that their search is for no results. Then three young guys claims to be the next prince. All the three guys claims that they are the son of dead king. Ram Kumar1 ( Jeetendra ), Ram Kumar2 ( Prem Chopra ) and Ram Kumar 3 ( Mehmood ) are then put on test by officials.

But all the three guys clears all the test with ease. Officials becomes confused over choosing the real son of king from the three guys. Ram Kumar1 is in love with a beautiful girl named Geeta ( Hema Malini ). What will happen now? Whether officials will be able to identify the real son of the king or not?
