The romantic comedy movie Yeh Dillagi was released on May 6, 1994 under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The movie was directed by Naresh Malhotra and produced by Yash Chopra and Uday Chopra. The lead roles in the movie were played by Akshay Kumar, Kajol, Saif Ali Khan and Saeed Jaffrey while Reema Lagoo, Goldie Singh, Achyut Potdar and Karisma Kapoor were also there in the film. Music of the film was directed by Dilip Sen and the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Pankaj Udhas, Abhijeet, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan.

The movie Yeh Dillagi was a romantic movie also being equally comic at the same time. The story of the movie is a romantic story that revolves mostly around Sapna ( Kajol ) who is the daughter of the Saigal family’s driver Dharampal ( Achyut Potdar ). Though she is a simple and fun loving girl but she has some big dreams. She dreams to get rich and also wanted to marry some one rich. She also dreams of her dream man. Vijay Saigal ( Akshay Kumar ) and Vicky Saigal ( Saif Ali Khan ) both the successors of the Saigal Industries have the qualities of being her dream man.

Though Vijay and Vicky have the qualities of being her dream man but they also have some bad qualities. While Vijay is a dull person with the motto ‘All work and no play’, Vicky believes in ‘All play and no work’. Vicky does not believe in love but just wanted to have affairs as many as he can, making him not more than a flirt. Also Sapna does not want marry anyone unless she becomes a model and is standing on her feet.
