The action movie Yudhpath was released on March 27, 1992. The movie was directed by Ravi Ravan and produced by Javed Riaz. The major roles in the movie were played by Siddarth, Ekta, Sudesh Berry and Kulbhushan Kharbanda while the roles of Kiran Kumar, Mohnish Behl and Ishrat Ali were also important. The music of the film was directed by Dilip Sen and Sameer Sen while the songs were sung by Jolly Mukherjee, Sukhwinder Singh, Shabbir Kumar, Vinod Rathod, Sadhana Sargam, Ila Arun, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Kumar Sanu.

The name of the movie Yudhpath can easily tell its genre. As expected the movie is an action film which has been the favorite genre of the Bollywood earlier. The story of the movie revolves around Inspector Bansilal Choudhary ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ) who is a middle class man living in a small house with his wife and son Karan Choudhary ( Sudesh Berry  ). Although Bansilal works as a police inspector at the Hari Nagar Police Station, he wants his son Karan to be an IPS officer and follow his father’s steps.

But for Karan, destiny has something else, as he has found himself in trouble after he was involved in some physical fights with other person in the Nehru Hostel, including Vikram Kapoor ( Siddharth ) and Shankar Tripathi ( Mohnish Bahl ). As a result he was always in trouble with the police. Bansilal tried his best to convince him but of no use. He was surprised to know that Karan was in contact with some bad guys like Iqbal Diwana ( Tinnu Anand ). The twist in the story comes when Karan abducted Shikha ( Ekta Sohini ).
