Yuvvraaj is a musical drama releasing on November 21, 2008 under the banner of Mukta Arts Ltd. The movie is directed and produced by Subhash Ghai. The main roles in the movie are played by Salman Khan,  Zayed Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor while the presence of Boman Irani and Mithun Chakraborty support the film. The music of the film is directed by A R Rahman and the songs are sung by Benny Dayal, Naresh Iyer, A R Rahman, Javed Ali, Vijay Prakash and Shreya Ghosal.

Yuvvraaj is a musical story that displays the human lives and relationships. The movie also has American actor Jacob ‘Coby’ Hadas making his Bollywood debut in a small role. The film revolves around three actors in the movie. Salman is musician who goes through three phases in life. Anil Kapoor is the best dressed man in the move who likes wearing quite expensive attire. Zayed plays the role of a gambler in the movie. The story is about three brothers Devan Yuvvraaj ( Salman Khan ), Gyanesh ( Anil Kapoor ) and Danny ( Zayed Khan ), playing games on each other to inherit their father’s wealth.

The story takes a turn when a pretty girl Anushka ( Katrina Kaif ) enters the three brothers’ lives. Anushka is a firm believer in music and believes that it has more abilities than just to entertain its listeners. She teaches the three brothers the importance of relationship through music and makes them realize that relationship is more important than money. Katrina actually learns to play the cello in the film for her part and practiced for a long time to learn it.
