Bollywood suspense action thriller, Tum: A Dangerous Obsession, directed by Aruna Raje was released on February 27, 2004. The movie starred Karan Nath and Manisha Koirala in lead roles while Deepti Daryani, Rajat Kapoor, Raj Shekhar Kapoor, Suresh Somaiya, Netanaya Singh, Shabnam Kapoor and Aman Verma also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the well known music director duo Himesh Reshamiya and Surendra Singh Sodhi while the songs were crooned by Udit Narayan, Adnan Sami, Kumar Sanu, Kunal Ganjawala etc.

Kamini Gupta ( Manisha Koirala ) is living a wealthy lifestyle alongwith his husband named Vinod Gupta ( Rajat Kapoor ) and two children. Vinod always remains busy in his business work and there do not have time for Kamini and children. Vinod then decides to take Kamini to mauritious in order to celebrate their wedding anniversary. There Kamini come across a young and handsome guy named Jatin Pandey ( Karan Nath ), who is a photographer by profession. Jatin get attrcated towards her and tries to woo her. One night Kamini drinks a lot and looses her conciousness. She ends up spending a night with Jatin.

Next morning, She get shocked to find herself on the bed with Jatin. She returns to Mumbai with her husband. Jatin follows her to India and somehow manage to get her telephone. Jatin calls her and ask to have a meeting but she refuses straightaway. Jatin only wants to have physical relationship with her. He decides to force her for having sexual relationship with him. He enters in her house as Vinod’s friend. Problem arises when Kamini’s teenage daughter gets attracted towards Jatin.
