Twinkle Khanna was arrested by Vakola police on charges of obscenity in public place. Anil Nair who claims to be a social worker pressed on the charges. According to him, what Akshay Kumar and Twinkle did on the ramp looked vulgar and he decided to take action against it. While Akshay was out of town for work it has been told that, the first thing he does when he lands back in India will be to report at the police station.

The bail for the offence was Rs 950 and Twinkle was released only after the bail was paid. The incident at the Lakme fashion week that took place inside Santa Cruz hotel is sure to leave the couple a bit embarrassed. If we go by what the police officers have to say nothing will happen to the couple, as the case was very weak in itself. Though it looked vulgar there is not very much that happened.

If we look at Akshay’s point of view, he was actually promoting the brand Levi’s for which he is a brand ambassador. While walking the ramp for his friend Tarun Tahiliani he tried to promote the brand’s new campaign that has the tag line Live Unbuttoned. A model from the group walking the ramp was to unbutton Akshay but to add some spice Akshay went to Twinkle who was seated in the front tow.

Looking at two different points of views it looks like there was no intention of being vulgar and obscene from Akshay’s side. He might get off the hook this time around but he has to careful in the future. Akshay is now preparing for the release of Kambakkht Ishq and Blue.
