Model turned actor, Upen Patel, is all set to star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s forthecoming flick Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Even though Upen is not playing the lead role in the film but he is still happy that he managed to get a chance to act in Santoshi’s film.

Upen is not bothered at all about Ranbir playing the lead hero in the movie. According to Upen, his role in te film is just like the one Salman Khan did in Karan Johar’s blockbuster hit Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Upen has only 40 days of work in the film though.

According to Upen, the main reason for doing the film is Raj Kumar Santoshi. Besides that he also love the character he has been asked to play in the film. And any actor would like to do the role despite of not being the lead actor of the film.

But he is more happy about the compliment given by Santoshi to him. Raj Kumar Santoshi has termed him the new Salman Khan of the bollywood. The movie, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, is a romantic comedy. Upen has already worked with Katrina in the movie Namastey London which was a big hit of year 2007.
