Urvashi Sharma might well have passed the hard phase in her career. After making a spectacular debut with the Abbas Mastan thriller Naqaab she found herself sitting at home doing absolutely nothing for one year. The reason she was bound by a contract but with no scripts to work on. After the contract was terminated, she signed on to do the movie Aap Ke Liye Hum being directed by Revathy Sharma.

Again, she walked out after the first cheque offered to her by the makers of the movie bounced. Now when she was sitting at home thinking that it could not have got any worse she got the bounty and is now in talks to sign on for the movie The Bounty Hunter. The huge scale of the project can be seen from the fact that U.K. Film council would be producing it, moreover it is a performance-oriented role, and there is nothing more she could have asked for.

Sunandan Walia is the one responsible for direction and he has experience directing documentaries like Days and Nights in an Indian Jail. Accompanying Urvashi from the Indian community would be Kulvinder Ghir who was last seen in the movie Bend It Like Beckham. Now almost everything has been finalized and she will be in London this month to seal the deal.

She has raised one objection in her part though, which requires her to do a nude scene. She will talk things out, talk them into removing it, and see what other options they have. She has expressed that she would clearly feel uncomfortable doing the scene, which is against her value system. Besides all this, she will be making a special appearance in the movie Chai Garam that is being directed by Priyadarshan.
