Vidya Balan in her last few movies was often criticized for being overweight. Despite all of that, she never gave a flop at the box office and not she has hit the gym hard and has reduced her waistline. She has already lost close to four inches from the top and somewhere around three inches around her waist. Now that is exceptional results considering the time frame she has done it in.

Now she had to pay a price and that to a heavy one. Now that she has slimmed down a lot, she is unable to fit properly in the designer clothes of hers, which cost somewhere close to three lakhs.the designer outfits were designed by some of the famous designers like Priyadarshini Rao, Abu Sandeep and Sabysachi. It was very recently also revealed that it was she who was first approached to play the part later played by Bipasha Basu in the movie All The Best.

The reason she turned down the part is clear. They required 45 straight days of her calendar, which she was unable to provide as she is already having her kitty full with movies and the shoot would have clashed with that of the movie Paa. On top of that, the shoot was in Goa so that would have made it even more difficult to fly back and forth.

She will get a chance to work with Ajay Devgan very soon though as she has been signed by Kumar Mangat to star opposite him in a movie that will be directed by Priyadarshan.
