Now all the Shahrukh Khan diehard fans out there will surely feel disappointed at hearing this piece of news. His next movie My Name Is Khan that was to release by the end of the year has been delayed and it is likely that the movie will be released only in the year 2010.The reason for the delay is the ongoing strike at the multiplexes.

There have been no new releases for over a month now and some movies seem to be benefiting from the fact. The movie 99 has enjoyed an extended run, as it is the only good movie up for grab. When the strike is finally called off there is going to be a hoard of releases by the producers who have currently stalled their profits. They will try to book their profits but then there will be the big banners releases that will try to wait.

Karan johar has decided to postpone the release of my name is khan as he does not want his release clash with Aamir Khan starrer Three Idiots or with Saif Ali Khan starrer Qurbaan which was earlier titled Jihad. Having big releases like these cramped up in a short time frame will drastically affect the box office collections for these movies.

All the movie will see postponed and re scheduling. All the releases are likely to be made after talking to other big producers as all of tem would want to benefit and avoid clashes which are bound to happen.SRK and Kajol fans will have to wait a wee bit longer to see their favorite pairing back on screen.
