Today movie that stretch to three hours has become a rarity whereas a decade or so back almost every other movie used to have a run time of close to two hours or sometimes even over it. Not the runtime has come down close to two hours packing the high-octane drama in a shorter span of time. This gives the multiplexes owner to run more shows and generate more revenues. The audiences also get their does of entertainment in those two hours.

The filmmakers try to keep their movie short, specific and entertaining at the same time. However, Ashutosh Gowariker has decided not to go by the book rather re write it himself. His earlier movies Lagaan and Jodha Akbar were three hours long affairs and it will be the case with his next release as well that is What’s Your Rashee? He is confident and feels that the turn time cannot affect the success of a movie.

The plot of the movie has been adapted from a novel Kimball Ravenswood written by Madhu Rye. The movie revolves around Harman Baweja who is out looking for his soul mate in a given time frame else, his family will meet with a terrible fate. In his journey for finding the right bride for himself, he will meet twelve girls all different avatars played by Priyanka Chopra.

It looks like he had to do some long searching before he met the right person. The movie will have around thirteen songs, which will not help the movie unless they are all melodies or foot tapping numbers.
