Sanjay Gupta has made name for himself by delivering those back-to-back hits. Those fact paced action movies with multi starrers have not worked for him lately and with Acid Factory, he is desperate to make a comeback. The movie is all set for release this Friday and the screen for the movie has been adapted from the Hollywood flick Unknown which was released in 2006.

The movie has been made with a modest budget of 25 crores and will be released worldwide with 800 prints. The movie would revolved around five people who wake up inside an acid factory wand all of them suffering from short-term amnesia. As the plot opens up it is revealed that two out of the five are hostages who have been kidnapped by the other three people.

Things get interesting when they get a phone call from the mastermind saying that when he gets there he would kill the hostages thereby begins battle for survival and all hell breaks loose when he finally gets there. All of them try to take charge in their attempts o escape, which all fail. The movie stars Dia Mirza, Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Manoj Bajpai, and Irrfan Khan. Aftab plays a person with short temper almost a hyperactive attitude in all scenes he revealed.

Most of them are trying to register a hit or make a comeback to mainstream success. Will the movie lives up to the hype remains to be seen. However, with movies like Wake Up Sid and Do Knot Disturb doing well it is good signs until now but the final judgment would depend on the performance and script.
