Two of the biggest releases that will take place in the month of September will have their premiers at Toronto International Film Festival. The festival happens to be the biggest film festival in the world in terms of the audience participation. The festival is also huge in terms of the revenue it generated most of it coming from the sales of tickets to the audiences.

Last year there were close to three Lakh tickets were sold. The festival, which started in 1976, has gone to become a major film festival with movies from around 64 countries being premiered over there. With such a huge opportunity to promote, your movies the Bollywood moviemakers are nowhere to be left behind. Yashraj banner will have their movie Dil Bole Hadippa premiered over there whereas Ashutosh Gowariker will see his movie What’s Your Rashee? premiering over there.

In Dil Bole Hadippa, the plot will revolve around the love story that develops between Rani Mukherjee and Shahid Kapur and at the same, we will see Rani wearing a turban and supporting a beard so that she could make it to the men cricket team, as girl in the area are not allowed to play cricket. In What’s Your Rashee? Harman Baweja will be on the lookout for the love of his life and if he fails, his family will be ruined forever. Priyanka Chopra will play twelve characters in the movie.

Last year also the festival saw three Bollywood movies being premiered over there in the form of Singh Is Kinng, Heaven On Earth and Firaaq. The festival will go on from September 10 to 19.
