It has been close to six years that we last saw Yash Chopra direct a movie and that was Veer Zaara. The movie was a blockbuster from the legend himself and now that he will be back at directing movies, all eyes will be on him. For a change, he will not be having Shahrukh Khan playing the lead role in his movie rather he will be working with another pillar of the industry in the form of Aamir Khan.

The rumors are very strong that Aamir has finalized for his next flick but Aamir remains tight lipped about the project and refrained from divulging any details related to the project as of now. If the reports indeed come out to be true, it will indeed be one of a kind of partnership. Now there were reports also saying that Preity Zinta will be playing the lead role opposite Aamir in this one but now it looks like Vidya Balan has replaced Preity.

Now just like Veer Zaara this one also happens to be a love story and incidentally this one too similar to his last movie will be spanned across a generation. The movie is expected to go on the floors next year and going by the grand style with which he releases his movies he will most likely make it a Diwali release.

Now neither Yashraj nor Aamir has made any official statement about the movie but it is most likely the case the movie is on and it will be exhilarating to see them work together. Aamir and Vidya will also make an unexpected but exciting pair.
