Mohit Suri directed, Zeher was released on 25 March 2005. The movie starrer Emraan Hasmi, Shamita Shetty and Udita Goswami in lead roles. The film was produced by Mukesh Bhatt and the music of the movie was given by Anu Malik. The movie was supposed to inspired by Out of Time. The movie was also been in controversy when a Pakistani band, Jal, accused Anu Malik of stealing their song.

The story starts with Siddharth ( Emraan Hashmi ), who is chief of a local police station in a small town in Goa. Siddharth, who is heading towards divorce with his wife, Sonia ( Shamita Shetty ). One day she meets a sexy married women Ana ( Udita Goswami ), who is also not happy with her husband. Siddharth finds himself attracted towards Ana and in a loose moment he crosses all the boundaries.

However he still loves his wife but unable to digest his wife’s success who is also a police force. Ana tells him that she is suffering from Cancer and needs a huge amount money for cure. But when he tries to help out Ana from the problem, he finds himself trapped in a very difficult situation as the night he gives money to Ana, she dies in a bomb blast. But then comes his wife to his rescue as the incharge of the case. In the end Siddharth gets succeed in uncovering the truth and in the process also win his wife’s love back.
