We all know the great lyricist Javed Akhtar and his son Farhaan Akhtar. Indian cinema owes a lot to the amazing lyrics of Javed Akhtar. Farhaan Akhtar too have proved his worth in his directorial debut “Lakshya” and his debut as an actor and as a singer in the movie “Rock On”. And now it’s the turn of Zoya Akhtar, daughter of Javed Akhtar and sister of Farhaan Akhtar, to prove that the same blood flows in her veins. “Luck By Chance” which is her directorial debut will prove her talent as a director.

She has also turned to be a lyricist. She is going to write the lyrics of a song for the album “Sound of Peace”. The song will be sung by the sensational American pop singer, Rihanna. The album is being produced and composed by Aadesh Srivastava. When Aadesh was asked about this he confirmed that he was working on some other project which is based on all the 4 seasons (summer, spring, winter, autumn) of the year. But for the anti-terrorism album i.e. “Sound of Peace”, he has put aside all the projects including that one. He approached Javed Akhtar and expressed his views to them. He told him that he needed a writer who can write evocative peace lyrics for his album. Javed Akhtar suggested Zoya’s name. After working with her on the project, Aadesh came to know that she is a gifted one.

Besides, not only Rihanna, other international artists like Justin Timberlake, are also going to contribute something to this album. Aadesh has sent an invitation to both of them and both of them have agreed to work with Aadesh on the album. Very soon we will be getting a blend of Indian and foreign music.
